1. Install Securely: Use a sturdy ceiling hook, wooden arm, or wall mount that can safely hold ~400g (14 oz). Always double-check before use.
2. Hang Out of Reach: Mobiles are for visual enjoyment only. Place high enough so your baby cannot touch or pull on it.
3. Choose the Right Spot: Cribs are classic, but mobiles also look lovely above changing tables or reading corners, just ensure they’re securely installed.
4. Keep Away from Hazards: Avoid placing near fans, shelves, wall art, plants, heaters, or open flames.
5. Remove or Reposition by 5 Months: Once your baby begins to roll and reach, move the mobile higher or remove it.
6. Decor Only, Not a Toy: Strings may pose a choking hazard if pulled. Mobiles should never be played with.
7. Inspect Regularly: Check for loose parts or wear. Remove until repaired if anything looks unsafe.
